Navigation and Documents Overview
This guide covers the main navigation structure in Klarify and how to find your way around the application.
Main Navigation Areas
Klarify’s navigation is organized into three main sections in the left sidebar:
Personal Section
Your personal workspace contains:
- User Profile: View your role permissions (Collaborator, Owner, or Performer views)
- Drafts: Work-in-progress documents you’re creating or editing
- Starred: Documents you’ve marked as favorites for quick access
- Archive: Previously published documents you’ve archived
- Advanced Search: Powerful search functionality (when enabled)
Organization Section
Your organization’s shared workspace includes:
- Folders: Organized document collections with customizable permissions
- Documents: All published processes and task instructions
- People: Directory of employees, positions, and team structures
Shortcuts
User-defined folder shortcuts for quick access to frequently used areas.
Documents Page - Your Main Landing Area
After logging in, you’ll land on the Documents page - the central hub of Klarify. This page shows:
Process Models
Business process diagrams created using BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation). These visual workflows show:
- Step-by-step procedures
- Decision points and branching
- Responsible parties
- Timing and dependencies
Task Instructions
Detailed documentation for specific tasks, including:
- Step-by-step instructions
- Required resources and tools
- Expected outcomes
- Assigned performers
Navigation Tips
Finding Documents
- Use the search bar at the top for quick document discovery
- Browse by folder structure in the Organization section
- Check your Starred items for frequently accessed documents
- Look in Drafts for work-in-progress items
Understanding Views
Your view of documents depends on your role:
- Collaborator View: Can view and comment on documents
- Owner View: Full editing and management permissions
- Performer View: Focused on tasks assigned to you
Folder Organization
