Remove teams
This guide shows you how to remove teams from your organization.
When you delete a team, it is removed as the performer from all assigned tasks. Those tasks are also removed as responsibilities from all positions that were members of the team.
Prerequisites
- You have the required permissions (see above)
- At least one team exists (Create teams)
Instructions
Navigate to the People page and select the Teams tab. Click on the team you want to remove, then select Remove from the overflow menu (···) on the far right of the team record in the table.
Step 1: Review affected tasks
- Review the list of tasks that will be affected by removing this team.
- Click on any task link to review it before proceeding.
Step 2: Confirm deletion
- Check the box to confirm: “I understand that removing this team will unassign it from all tasks and permanently delete the team.”
- Click Delete permanently.
