View document activity
The Activity panel shows a running history of what has happened to a published document — every published version alongside the ownership, performer, and access changes recorded against it — so you can see how a document has evolved and who was involved.
Activity is separate from Snapshots. Snapshots are the manual and autosaved checkpoints you work with while editing a draft (Create snapshots); Activity is the published-side record for a document that has already been released.
Open the Activity panel
- Open a published process model or global task.
- In the left sidebar, click the Activity tab.
You can also open it from the header overflow menu (three dots) in the top-right corner — choose Activity.
If the tab or menu item is not present, the document has not been published yet, or you do not have edit access to it.
What the Activity feed shows
The feed lists entries in reverse-chronological order (most recent first), each with who made the change and when:
- Published versions — an entry such as “V1.0 published” for every released version. Autosaved draft versions are not included.
- Procedure activity — ownership changes, performer changes, and access changes recorded against the document.
If nothing has been recorded yet, the panel shows No activity yet.
