Keyboard shortcuts

Keyboard shortcuts let you add elements, edit your diagram, and move around the canvas without reaching for the toolbar. The shortcuts below apply while you work in the process model editor.

On Mac, ⌘ is the Command key and ⇧ is the Shift key.

Add elements

ActionMacWindows
Add taskTT
Add intermediate eventII
Add end eventEE
Add gatewayGG
Add connectorCC

When you hover over an element and press T, I, E, or G, Klarify inserts that element as the next element in the flow from the one you are hovering — the same result as clicking its add (connector) dot, even if a different element is selected. If you are not hovering over an element, the shortcut adds the element after the selected element instead, or drops it at the cursor when nothing is selected.
