Enable Klarify AI
Klarify AI can be used in two ways: through the built-in AI Assistant inside Klarify, or through external AI clients that connect to the Klarify MCP server. Organization administrators configure both from the AI Assistant settings page.
Instructions
Click the Settings icon in the left sidebar, then select AI Assistant under ORG SETTINGS.
Enable the AI Assistant
Turn on Enable AI Assistant to let everyone in your organization use the AI Assistant.
When this setting is off, the AI Assistant is unavailable to your members.
Enable document indexing
Turn on Enable Document Indexing to make your published procedures searchable by AI tools, so they can give better answers about your work.
Indexing applies to published documents. Drafts and unpublished changes are not included.
Configure MCP connections
Use MCP connections to connect external AI clients to your Klarify workspace. Each user signs in with their own Klarify account, so the client can only access what that user is allowed to access.
Select the connection type that your AI client supports:
- Dynamic (recommended) — Copy the MCP server URL into Claude or another client that supports dynamic registration. Sign-in and setup happen automatically.
- Manual (enterprise) — Create an OAuth application for Microsoft Copilot Studio or another client that requires manually configured credentials. Klarify provides the Client ID, Authorization URL, Token / Refresh URL, and Scopes. You can also request a client secret and register the client’s Redirect URL.
